 The Academic in us can develop in many different directions, from traditional teachers, school leaders, and college professors to scientists, lawyers, doctors, nurses, public administrators, musicians, and artists. It is about your interest and enjoyment in studying and learning about specific or various areas of interest. But that study can grow very high. Cultivating the academic area can grow from achieving a first level associate or bachelor’s degree to achieving the doctorate levels such as a PhD (doctorate of philosophy), EdD (doctorate of education), MD (doctorate of medicine), or JD (Juris Doctorate). What’s important for now to understand is that you must be well-developed in your academics to become a student worth the investment.
